Pure performance, head-turning good looks, and massive fishing decks. Combine that with oversized storage, instant hole shots, responsive handling, and an incredibly smooth, rough water ride, and you’ve just described the revolutionary AVX2100. Surrounded by 20’8” of hand forged muscle, this beam-forward design includes a step pad hull, computer-modeled lifting strakes, integrated spray rails, and a 250-horsepower rating. Inside and out, it’s easy to see that this Flippin Fish Stalker™ is a tournament-bred, aluminum machine. The ultra-stable platform is balanced with 44-gallons of fuel capacity centered longitudinally below the cockpit floor. The layout not only provides tremendous confidence but a noticeably agile feel and generous cockpit space. Ultimately, it’s a big water warrior with an uncanny ability to navigate the shallows. With a broad 96” beam, the AVX2100 is formed around our exclusive V2 Technology. The whole process is geared for repeatable consistency, slot-car-like handling, and accelerated performance. There’s room for 3-across seating on the forward deck as well as an absolute arsenal of rods and gear throughout the interior. Up front, the port side locker includes space for sticks up to 8 ½ feet in length while the center box can hold 9-foot rods. There’s even a space below the rods for 3700-sized tackle boxes and a bump board is fitted under the painted lid. Plus, the ultra-wide decks are fitted with full-size rod hold-downs and open slots alongside the gunnels so you can keep a multitude of rods within arm’s reach. Just in front of the helm, the oversized starboard compartment is ideal for lifejackets and other gear while also featuring a partition. The arrangement works well as a day box, making it easy to quickly reach the tackle you’re leaning on. With plenty of room for multiple anglers up front, the forward workstation is equally spacious. Cup and toolholders combine with a recessed fiberglass well for the trolling motor pedal, integrated NAV lights, and remote switches. From large flush-mount electronics to even larger stacked units, this rig is built for business. Leading up to the front deck is a small step and storage box with toolholders. It’s a handy position and easy to access from virtually anywhere in the boat. The cockpit, itself, is wide open and highlighted by a world of leg room, adjustable high performance seating with fiberglass shells, integrated side storages, cup holders, an ambidextrous net holder behind the seats, and a running rod rack for fast access to even more rods. Smooth, SeaStar™ Pro hydraulic steering centers the helm while the custom-styled glass console includes your choice of electronics as well as speed, tach, fuel, trim, and water pressure instrumentation. In between the driver and passenger seating, an available center step with storage is designed with cup holders, a compression latch, and support handle. Centering the rear deck, our tournament-engineered, fiberglass livewell is equipped with recirculating aeration, filter screens, an anti-splash ring, removable divider, and a pump-out feature. Surrounding the well are a pair of huge, insulated fiberglass storages. Deep, wide, and long, these compartments feature compression lid latches, raised lips with rubber trim seals, and gutter drains to reinforce our Dri-Max® system of rapid water evacuation on both decks. At the stern, the rear power compartment is set up for easy access to pumps and plumbing, a multi-bank charger, circuit breakers, master power switch, our Vexus® View 8-gauge inline harness, and batteries. Available as a single or dual console model, the advanced design of the AVX2100 features wood-free construction, a remote drain plug switch, pop-up tie cleats, air shocks on the rod boxes, a 6-inch engine setback, upright, level closed cell foam flotation for added peace of mind and sound dampening, and the ability to mount shallow water anchors directly to the transom. Cradling the 2100 is a factory-fitted, precision-matched trailer that’s loaded with even more standard features. Check out the reinforced 4-inch channel steel frame, Victor Shield™ protective coating, LED lighting, disc brakes on both axles, swing tongue, hybrid oil hubs, custom aluminum Vexus® branded wheels, fitted bunks, load guides, transom tie-downs, spare tire and wheel, multiple side steps, and an available bow step. Combined with so many fiberglass parts as well as an incredible level of fit, finish, and features, this elite-level machine is engineered to look, feel, ride, and handle like glass, all while making every trip to the water a Vexus-Sized Advantage! |
Vexus® V2 TechnologyBy incorporating numerous design and manufacturing improvements, we’ve raised the bar in aluminum fishing boats—giving you more room, more strength, and more consistent performance on the water. From the computer-modeled lifting strakes to the integrated spray rails to the additional width at the bow, this next generation of Vexus® boats is ready to excel every time you back one down the ramp. |
All-Welded High-Performance Pad HullOur groundbreaking AVX high-performance pad hull enjoys a running surface with less drag, increased bow lift, and superior overall handling and performance. The manufacturing processes we use create a consistent running surface not found in other brands. |
Tournament Grade Fiberglass LivewellWhen money's on the line it's comforting to know that our livewell system is designed to keep the day's catch healthy and safe. We incorporate a valve system that makes changes easy, no more sticking your hand in cold water to drain the livewell. Additionally, the well is equipped with recirculating aeration, a pump-out system, and Splash Guard technology. |
Loaded with Standard FeaturesYou won't see us offering base-level equipment that keeps the starting price artificially low. As avid anglers ourselves, we package the boats like we would want them. You'll find our entire lineup has a stainless-steel propeller, stainless boarding ladder, smooth hydraulic steering, an onboard charger, retractable rod buckles, and a proven Minn Kota trolling motor built into the price. |
Stainless Pull-Up Tie CleatsStop breaking rods and tearing clothing. Our stainless-steel pull-up cleats stay out of the way until they're needed. |
Oversized Pedestal BasesOthers use a ¾” diameter base to hold the fishing seats in place. We believe in going a step farther. Our 1.77” diameter base is stronger and will last longer. |
VECTOR FORCE™ TRANSOMOur Vector Force Transom is constructed of .125” aluminum and reinforced with 60% more material than the industry standard. The transom is the very foundation of the boat structure and at Vexus we're focused on ensuring anglers can outfit their rig with today's setback plates and shallow water anchors. Many others not only don't offer these options, but installing them actually voids the warranty. |
Wood-Free DesignKnowing that your AVX doesn't rely on any type of wood reinforcement is more than comforting. It's Wood-Free Confidence that translates into worry-free outings. Now, you can leave the regret of corner-cutting composites and squeaky, rotten plywood far behind. |
Solid State Wiring and Lit Tip SwitchesThere's no room for cheap, snap locks and failure-prone fuses in our wiring harnesses. Instead, waterproof connectors and resettable breakers are coupled with our heavy gauge wiring for the ultimate in confidence and reliability. |
Integrated LED NAV LightsThe aerodynamic form of these integrated bow navigation lights is not only geared to reinforce the sleek lines of your rig but the low-profile design means you’ll never worry with bumping or bending them in the dark. |
Raised Lips, Compression Lid Locks, and Oversized Seals for Lid OpeningsOne key to providing drier storage is to help ensure the lid completely seals. We accomplish this by using a raised lip and compression lock that pulls the lid tight against the oversized rubber seal. Quickly evacuating the water is critical to keeping your gear dry. |
Hard Case™ Paint with Clearcoat ProtectionThis new-era, color armor is unrivaled; setting the highest standards for durability, shine, strength, and worry-free maintenance. Plus, it’s a hands-down winner in chemical, gas, scratch, impact, and even salt spray resistance tests. Bow to stern, this performance-proven process means your rig is built to turn heads on and off the water. |

When you think about it, buying a boat is a little bit like getting married. After all, this is the commitment of a lifetime, and you want to feel confident you’re making the right decision! Fortunately, there are plenty of fish in the sea, and plenty of boats and pontoons to choose from here at Howell’s Marine Sales & Service. The following tips can help you narrow down the options and find your perfect match!
What kinds of activities are you interested in? This should be your guiding question when choosing a boat. If catching fish is on the agenda, you should seek out a fishing boat, with features such as rod holders and livewells. If you want to pursue the excitement of watersports, you should look for a boat with a powerful engine that can reach high speeds. Meanwhile, if you are looking to host parties on the water, a spacious luxury boat will serve you best.
That being said, there’s no need to limit yourself. There are some boats that can cover all your bases! Pontoon boats, for example, are incredibly versatile. We are passionate about pontoon boats here at Howell’s Marine Sales & Service, and we recommend them to our customers who want to get a little bit of everything out of their boating experience.
Of course, you can’t talk about buying a boat without discussing all the costs involved! The upfront cost of purchasing a boat can be pretty steep, but the long-term costs are even more important to consider. When budgeting for a boat, remember to account for all the expenses that are going to add up over time – such as fuel, maintenance, and insurance.
Generally speaking, it’s a good idea to set aside at least 10% of your boat’s total value each year for routine maintenance, and another 5% for any unexpected repairs. Meanwhile, you can expect to pay about 1.5% of the total value of your boat annually for insurance coverage.
If you have any questions about the boat buying process, you are always welcome to consult the sales team here at Howell’s Marine Sales & Service! We are always happy to assist. You can find us in Chatham, ON, near London.
